Senior Moments

Welcome to Senior Moments, my blog about accessing care and/or providing care for your loved ones. As a registered nurse with almost 20 years of experience managing homecare agencies I have first hand knowledge of the stress that comes from being thrust into this position. Children are placed into positions of caring for their aging parents. Frequently this occurs without warning and is quite disruptive to their own lives filled with work and families. Hopefully I will ease some of this stress through the sharing of the knowledge that I have gained over the years. All is not hopeless. There are numerous provider types to assist you with meeting the challenges of caregiving. I hope that you will follow and certainly comment on my blogs.
